HELLO NEWGROUNDS IT HAS BEEN SOME TIME!!!

First and foremost, I'd like to apologize for the lack of any meaty updates as of late. Things have gotten very busy for me in the past few months and it got to a point where a lot of my energy had to be conserved in order to keep doing what I have been doing.

ANYHOW, With that aside I do want to give you all an update on some of the things I've been up to for the past few months.

WHAT HAS DIO BEEN UP TO AS OF RECENT?

Putting aside any of the art I have uploaded, If you want to get a glimpse into a few bits of art that I do in my spare time then check out my sketchbook thread! I've also been making a few rounds into a few collaborations on here and on other websites as well.

ADDITIONALLY, I've also been working a bit more on the Starfire Vs. Blaze animation with @LuckoDaStars. The animation is close to being done so it should be released relatively soon on Youtube.

The other thing too is that if you are like me and ended up donating to the Once Upon an Internet Newgrounds Documentary, I did too! So if you see me lurking around on the discord server I'll likely be hanging around there to see how the progress is developing. I've also recently donated a few bucks to Mindwave on Kickstarter as well, after having tried the game myself, I felt that as going to be a kick ass game worth supporting.

FUTURE PLANS

I'm still working on getting a new website for my portfolio. It's been put on the side for the most part since other priorities have taken place, but I am trying to learn a little more of HTML so I can utilize NeoCities to do this so I'm hoping that once that is done, I can launch the website as soon as I am able to and be able to have a more organized and professional place to host my content. I don't have a specific launch date for the website yet, but stay tuned. I'm hoping that once I get the majority of it done then I can give a specific launch date for the website.

AS OF RIGHT NOW I'm also intending to explore into other areas for working on my craft. I feel that I've done a lot of work on the technical side of my artistic skills, but I don't often get the chance to explore the expressive side of it which is why I've been dabbling more with satirical takes on the news and posting some original content as of late. Don't worry, I'll still do the occasional fan piece every now and then but it's not going to be as frequent as I have been posting fan art in the past few years.

I'm also hoping to do some more animation stuff of my own, hoping to do a small clip and start honing more of my own skills in that area since I've been slowly getting back into that.

RANDOM THOUGHTS

So RECENTLY I have found out that the Bruins have made multiple trades. Can't say that I'm too happy with what they got for some of them and what they got for Marchand actually ticked me off a bit. I'm still a loyal B's fan at heart but honest to God if they don't realize Sweeney is the problem I don't have much hope they'll be back in the playoffs anytime soon. It's actually been more fun to watch local AHL games than it has been to watch the Bruins.

BUUUUUUT if I had to make a pick for who I think has a shot at the Stanley Cup I'd say Edmonton has a good shot. McDavid has proven in the four nations game that he has one hell of an edge on game. BUUUUUT if anything I'm happy that the NHL inspired me to pick up ice skating again in my spare time.

As for other things, It's been a quiet few months. A little stressful with a few stupid situations here and there but none of them really worth going over in a news post. I'm just appreciating the fact that I'm still kicking around and practicing my skill for what I can do.
