@DioShiba The only channels I’ve seen which get into this topic are TwoLeftThumbs, BluShades, and HatsOffMedia. Channels I really like though BluShades covers the topic more often than HOF, and TwoLeftThumbs actually being a user of Newgrounds itself who talks about the sites bigger animations and games. If more people like RebelTaxi, The Roundtable, anyone in the major cartoon community actually talked about indie animation more I feel people would be inspired to tackle it themselves. RebelTaxi has done some small effort in this field, as well as Saberspark to an extent but not enough as their videos on televised animation airing on major channels like CN, Disney, or Nick.
With the influx of Indie projects and popularity of animation I have a small amount of hope that people will shed light on more obscure and or popular indie animation in general.

After this news I hope more and more people talk about Indie and Underground animation the same way they talk about bug studio and major productions. Very few people have done this and those who have are a little smaller than their contemporaries.

And to be honest that's where I think people should be focusing their conversations more on. Some of the best animations I've seen did not come from TV shows or feature length animations and the perspective I had on animation changed soon as I attended art school.
The thing is, not everyone has gone to art school and some people can't afford to.
The problem is unless you were born with parents in the industry or have done some serious study of it before graduating high school you might not know anything about the independent animation scene and just how much it matters. If anything I'd love to talk more to the average person on who Bill Plympton is than whatever the fuck is going on with Disney and if more conversations happen here on sites like Newgrounds then I'd be all the more happier personally.
