bold of the project to continue, glad the work isnt going to waste at least
i was just lamenting all the lost work that had gone into that when i was reading about what had happened.

At this point, we want the project to continue simply because it would be a good way to honor Newgrounds and it's history. However, due to the nature of the allegations against Johnny this may mean that the project may end up facing several changes over the course of it's development in the future based on the conversations I've had in a recent developers meeting.
I hope you continue your podcast.
I'm not the one running the podcasts.
I can let the current team directors know that people are still interested in them but that's about as much as I can do on that end.
@DioShiba I hope NG moves on from Johnny. As much as he was cool, we need to abandon him.
I agree.
If anything I'm disgusted, but NG can survive this. Not the first time the site has had a rodeo like this.
@DioShiba NG usually tends to forget about people like them after a few weeks. NG usually tries to look to the future and believes that for every horrid person there are more nice ones.
Fuck, dude... He and I actually talked quite a bit for a small period of time. I understand that people can fuck up sometimes and make honest mistakes, but obviously this wasn't just a simple, honest mistake. I would be lying in saying I wasn't pretty sad, and I just hope he gets help. I've gotta think.
There isn’t much I can say that already hasn’t been said months ago when this blew up.
I mean fuck I’m outspoken to a fault with hot takes and I’ve made my share of stupid mistakes between my online presence and in real life. I’m not going to dance around that I offend people at times.
But ThatJohnnyGuy crossed a line and the evidence was crystal clear. I don’t know if he can be helped or is beyond it but either way it’s still damning.
All the receipts are here for anyone interested. https://kiwifarms.hk/threads/newgrounds.29615/page-15#post-16859352
Well its not like I can be surprised this whole incident gained traction elsewhere on the internet, but ThatJohnnyGuy brought it on himself.
I still am pissed at him for creating a ton of drama over his shit and making me believe he was going to pull a “die a hero” move.
@DioShiba I’m a little wary of leaving this up. Staff seem to want to sweep it under the rug. But there is always The Streisand Effect to give it life once again. So here it is, lurkers
But people are naturally curious. If they want to see what happened, it’s there. I found it boring, to be honest. And it makes Newgrounds seem reasonable for wanting to kick this guy out. I find the whole truth is rarely embarrassing or flattering when it’s altogether.
If it satisfies curiosities, I’ve done my part.
No, I agree with you.
I don’t think its a good idea for the staff to censor any of this given a good amount of screenshots are floating put in the open.
If the staff sees this post and opts to delete it so be it, however I’m not going to be the one to pull that trigger there.
@DioShiba The way I see it is that everyone has their worst mistake in life, and only their acceptance of that mistake can lead to them not continuing in making many more mistakes or even worse ones. We should only see the things others have done as a warning for own selves should we continue to unaddress our own shadows. I hope only for the best outcome.
I agree with that.

I have more thoughts on this that I’m still trying to sort out, what I will say is for right now that situations like this are why you don't idolize people just because they are your favorite content creators.
