Rock icon and prince of darkness Ozzy Osbourne passes away 76 years young.
Kind of goes without saying but given his controbutions to the rock genre he's always had the most utmost respect from me growing up.
He's one of the big names that I listened to growing up. I'm happy he lived the best life he could and it doesn't go understated that he had a massive impact.
Long live Rock and Roll, Long Live Ozzy.

I heard about this when I woke up and it's insanely sad. The guy basically helped pioneer the Heavy Metal genre with Black Sabbath and his attributions to it will never be missed.
Rest In Piece, Ozzy Osbourne.

It's just some sad news all round. He'll be missed for certain and there's no doubt in my mind he'll be remembered many years after the fact since many of us alive have had the opportunity to say we were alive during his time.
He's done what many dream of but a few manage to do.
