Do I think Hisoka is am interesting character? Yes.

Not my favorite character from HxH that goes to Killua but Hisoka is interesting nonetheless.

Damare-Draws responds:

absolutely! he is weird but interesting!

You're the same guy who made that one hell of an awesome majora's mask piece with this palette if I'm not mistaken?

Either way I'm a fan of your work. Following you because honestly it's a pleasure seeing your stuff whether it's on here or twitter.

PostmodernOuroboros responds:

Yes! I am, and thank you for taking the time to say to share that, i really appreciate it :)

Not bad, in fact I like where you went with the blood.

The thing that bugs me is the shading under the hair on the head, particularly to her left side of the head where the shading is going above the hair and not simply under it (if that makes any sense) and how the hands are holding the gun. I get hands are hard to draw but I would have used some references to pull this one off if you ask me.

But, regardless it's still pretty good in certain regards and I think that over time you'll be able to master your craft to the next level, but you got to be mindful of how you go about shading your work because I think that's your biggest challenge right now.

aapiarts responds:

True. I should practice shading more.

Honestly this is a dope art style.

Was this done digitally or traditionally? Or both? It kind of gives me the feeling that this was done on pen and paper. Either way I dig it.

MatthewLopz responds:

for 9 out outta 10 of my art pieces, the rough sketch is done in pen & paper, just to get the idea down, this one is actually the 1/10 that's actually done completely digital lol, glad you enjoy it!

Actually I'm not going to lie, between this and Gaz dressing in Mandy's clothes actually is kind of a interesting idea.

I'd be lying if I wasn't inspired by it per say but between obligations and other projects I'm not sure if I'd get to it.

SolidSnakeOnAPlane responds:

It’s good for you to feel inspired

While I love the detail that went into the body and I think that potentially makes it strong. However what ends up being a huge detractor for this piece is the anti-aliasing that's used on the outlines for your character mainly because against the background it distracts more than it adds anything to keep the viewer engaged with the piece. If the pixels used in the anti-aliasing were in a light background or if it was adjusted with some level of transparency to work with the background then it might actually do it a favor in this case.

I do like this. At the same time with the problem I have with it is keeping me from giving this a full five stars.

Yavooti responds:

Thanks for your feedback.
I see what you mean. I'll likely change the shade of anti-aliasing when I've him into my Super Mario World Rom hack. but I also will think about this issue when posting anti-aliased pixel art in the future.

I was hesitant on liking this because right now as it stands I can't support Ai Art programs in of themselves due to the enormous amount of copyright infringement issues that it come with those programs. However, I think this is where it's interesting that you are using it in a way where, rather than using the image that Ai itself generates you use it more as a reference and then drew over it and did your own thing with it.

I was looking at how you went about your process on Werga's review so that's where I felt the need to acknowledge that. Because compared to a lot of other schmucks who are doubling down on being for Ai you know what the fuck you're actually doing when it comes to materials and methods in the process of making things.

That's where I think that, given the circumstances if a lot of these apps like Craiyon and Lensa got their shit sorted out and actually resolved that, and if people who advocated for Ai as a tool weren't so dense to assume that the image that Ai generates is worth being the final product as opposed to the process to get to where you got your work to, then there probably wouldn't be much of an issue.

It's worth referencing in a discussion.

Cardbordtoaster responds:

As someone who's fascinated by AI and excited about its potential for helping artists, it's been discouraging to see discussion getting drowned out and shut down.

Milky with all do respect even if you aren't solid on anatomy I have to say that you did a pretty good job with this.

Don't sell yourself short.

milkypossum responds:

I really appreciate this! I used to draw a lot and I’m trying to draw more and it’s definitely been a journey to try and feel things out again. Thank you!

You have a fun art style that works with Pixel art that, if I'm gonna be honest has a pretty refreshing flair to it.

CheetoDeeto responds:

Thank you alot! :D

Arguably one of the best boss fights in the game. It's hard yes, but it's not entirely unfair.

Awesome artwork

TachyonicSugarglider responds:

I agree and thanks!
