I think the static makes this piece more effective than without, the muted colors in turn make it insanely more effective in that regard and that's where it does have that feeling of dread where it's as if you were to look at the angel you would be driven to insanity.

It's effective and that's what I like about it.

This is probably the only one I genuinely like out of the ones you have posted so far but if I'm being real, it just feels like you're doodling more than you are anything else with what you have posted so far.

And that's fine, but it's not impressive. If you ask me on what you should do first is how hungry are you to be an artist and if you are, do everything in your power to learn as much as you can. I don't like being totally negative like this personally but I think you have to be honest with yourself here.

Depends on the type of background you're doing. Also I think what you got here is fantastic personally. I'd like to see you do more stuff in this style because I think that's what works best for you.
